Department of Pharmacology organized a Awareness Programme on Pharmacovigilance. Organized as part of our community outreach activities to promote safe use of medicines, adverse drug reaction (ADR) and reporting of the same among the Medical Professionals and Public.

To create awareness about adverse drug reaction (ADR) reporting among the rural population, a WALKATHON Program was organized in the surrounding villages.

Dr. Hema A M, Associate Professor, Dept of Pharmacology, delivered a talk on "Adverse Drug Reactions and Medication Errors" and Dr. Suresha R N, Professor & HOD, Dept of Pharmacology, delivered a talk on "Basics of Pharmacovigilance Methods".
